Spotify app not launching

Spotify app not launching

The Spotify app has stopped launching on Linux mint.

Removing the package and reinstalling doesn't solve the issue. Any help?

Which version of linux mint?
Which version of spotify are you using? (and is it debian or snap)

If you launch with `spotify --show-console` does it give you any meaningful hints?

Spotify version: Spotify version 1.2.53.440.g7b2f582a, Copyright (c) 2025, Spotify Ltd

Error from console

MESA-INTEL: warning: Ivy Bridge Vulkan support is incomplete
libva error: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/iHD_drv_video.so init failed
libc++abi: terminating due to uncaught exception of type std::invalid_argument: stoul: no conversion
Aborted (core dumped)

Same issue here, also on Linux Mint (after a lot of udpate on Mint and an update on Spotify)

Try to remove and full install but nothing.
Nothing display on console with `spotify --show-console`

Same here on arch, get nothing from `spotify --show-console`, reinstalling didn't help. Attached the output of `strace spotify > $HOME/spotify-dump 2>&1`
