After opening computer, no sound

After opening computer, no sound

Hi, I have a Macbook Pro 15inch from 2011, and I've had trouble with Spotify. I've had a repeated problem of my Spotify desktop client program disabling the sound whenever I resume playback after I've closed and opened my computer up again. I can't find anything on the forums about this, and I've also done a clean reinstall of Spotify, and it hasn't solved this problem. Are you aware of this bug? Is there an easy fix to this problem?

Also, one thing I should note is that it works again if I restart Spotify by closing and opening the program again. But I really hate doing that as I need to close and open my computer often.
