Album repeating to Track 1 randomly

Over the past month, an album will jump back to track 1 and start over and the end of later tracks when I'm using Spotify on my Mac desktop app. I've updated Spotify at least once since this began but this issue still hasn't been fixed.

Have you checked your queue to see if it has something to do with this behaviour?

Does it only happen when you play this specific album? Is it a local file?

Hi there,

Yeah, it's definitely not a queue issue as it happens frequently where I've
definitely not queued anything at any point. I listen to mostly albums from
9-5 every day and it tends to happen multiple times a day. It often will
get triggered when I pause a song and unpause it (when the song ends, it
will then hop back to track 1), although this isn't always the case; it's
very unpredictable. It happens with multiple albums that are not composed
of local files.

I recommend you try a clean reinstall of Spotify using this app:

http://www.freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/

When you open up the app, click the search icon and search for Spotify and it will automatically find and delete all files on your computer related to Spotify.

After that, download/reinstall Spotify and let me know if the issue persists.
