Albums added to "Your Music" on iPad not showing up on desktop (Mac) app

For a couple of weeks now, I have been adding albums to my music, using Spotify on my iPad Mini.  When I come to work and go to find them in the Spotify desktop app for Mac, they are nowhere to be found.  The same albums are not marked as saved, and when I sort by Date Added, only albums that I added on the desktop are found.  It's as if nothing I did on my iPad was synced with my account.  This only seems to happen within the last 2 releases of the app.

I spend a lot of time on weekends looking through music magazines to choose albums to add to my music for later listening, but it is a waste of time if they do not sync up with my desktop.  I hope you can help solve this issue.
