In the last few days all of my saved music has disappeared from Your Music section.
I've tried logging out and logging in (using facebook) to no avail.
The issue is present across all my devices.
I've noticed Spotify desktop on Mac recently is very sluggish when switching to the Play Queue and especially when switching between Queue and History.

It certainly seems like a similar issue, but there are some key differences:
My playlists, starred items, and Artists have been preserved. Only Songs and Albums in the Your Music section are affected.
I've only ever been able to log into Spotify using facebook. It's never been an option for me to do otherwise since Spotify was launched in my country. In my profile there's not even the option to reset password.
I do have a Spotify Premium account, and have done since mid 2012.

So after some more too and fro I've been told that my songs are gone and there's nothing they can do. They've given me a month of premium to try and soften the blow.
This is both disappointing and concerning; I'm really shocked that Spotify don't seem to have backups of this kind of thing.
What a fail.
I'm now looking for ways to download my playlists so I can avoid this kind of problem in the future.
The exact same thing has happened to me!
I've had further contact from Customer Support: they've managed to recover just under a thousand songs.
This is great, but I had many times this number. I'm glad they're continuing to help, I just hope they can sort out a way to stop this happening in the future.
