Discover "try these albums" not working

I've been using Spotify premium for a while and I keep noticing that the Browse -> Discover page no longer takes me to a list of artist albums I might like, (a feature I use ALL the time) but instead redirects me to the same playlist page of pre-made Spotify playlists with titles like "morning commute" and "pop all day." No thanks. How come I can't get to that discover page where it recommends albums I might like?

Have you tried a clean reinstall? To do that, follow the steps below:

Note: After deleting the client, make sure there are no files left in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Spotify before installing it again!

1. Click File > Exit.
2. Click Start then select Control Panel.
3. Click Programs then Programs and Features.
4. Select Spotify in the list and click Uninstall.
5. Go to http://www.spotify.com/download and reinstall Spotify.
