Double click to play a song plays first song in the list, or a random song if 'shuffle' is on.

Double click to play a song plays first song in the list, or a random song if 'shuffle' is on.

I'm on this version of spotify on my Mac 1.0.51.693.g6ea1e7f6

When I open up a playlist, double click a song, it will play the first song in the playlist.  If shuffle is selected, it will play a random song in the list.  I would expect the song I double clicked to be played.  Any help is appreciated.

Cheers,

Chris

I'm getting exactly the same issue. This is only when accessing an album through "Your music".

Yes, It seems I have accessed an artist through the 'My Music' section.  Thanks for that detail.

Cheers,

Chris

After a bit more searching it seems like this is a known bug with Spotify. Hope it gets sorted soon.

I've had the problem on my mac as well. I have found that turning off your shuffle and repeats and then restarting. That worked for me.

Cheers Henry, the issue is still persisting for me though. I've just rolled back to the previous version until it's fixed.

Here is the guide on how to do that for anyone struggling with this issue:
