Paw-some to see you kclark2001!

It sounds like there may be a technical issue with the Spotify app or with the designated folder where you are trying to download the music. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Clear the cache and data of the Spotify app: Go to your phone's Settings > Apps & notifications > Spotify > Storage > Clear Cache/Clear Data. This will delete any temporary files and data associated with the app, which may be causing the issue.

  2. Check your download settings: Make sure that the designated download location is correctly set in the Spotify app. You can find this in the app's Settings > Storage > Download Location. Also, ensure that you have enough storage space on your device to download the music.

  3. Reinstall the Spotify app: Completely uninstall the Spotify app from your device and then reinstall it from the app store. This will ensure that you have the latest version of the app installed and that any previous installation issues have been resolved.

  4. Check your antivirus or firewall settings: It's possible that your antivirus or firewall software is blocking Spotify from downloading the music files. Try temporarily disabling your antivirus or firewall and see if the issue persists.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may want to contact Spotify support for further assistance.

Wonderful, Prague. I look forward to trying this and giving an update.

I thank you for your detailed answer, and:

Step 1) "Clear the cache and data of the Spotify app: Go to your phone's Settings > Apps & notifications > No can do.... no such option.

Step 2) Valid path and disk space

Step 3) Did a simple reinstall. Read about a COMPLETE reinstall, but scared away in step 4 when it told me to delete all files brought up by a search, dozens and dozens, and decided not to do it.

Step 4) Turned firewall off and it still happened.

Any further suggestions?

Thanks for your help thus far.

Step 2)

Oh, and my specs are:

iPhone iOS 16.4.1
Mac OS Ventura

Spotify : 12.10.760

Thanks

I, unfortunately have tried everything I can think of with no success. Prague mentions contacting Spotify support below, and I will try that. Thanks.
