Friends list sometimes does not load in Desktop App

My Question or Issue

Lately, when I open up my Spotify Desktop app from my task bar, the friends list is not visible immediately. I have to restart the app to rectify the issue. Was there a recent update?

Could you confirm if you still experience this after you log out from all devices and then log back in? Occasionally this is necessary to force a sync of info between your device and our account system. 

If this persists after logging out everywhere, try running a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your device. This will clean up leftover data that could be causing the issue.
