How to get a playlist on both iPhone & Mac? (Currently only on iPhone)

I clicked on a playlist link I recd from a friend & it automatically downloaded on to my iPhone...how to also get it on my Mac's app?

It's not exactly clear from your description what exactly happened here. What do you mean by "automatically downloaded"? Ultimately, when you open someone else's playlist from anywhere, you can click or tap the plus symbol at the top to add this playlist to your library. From then on, you will have that playlist saved to your collection and you can use this to easily find it on any device. This is bound to your account, so it's synced between all devices. If you want to listen to that playlist offline on a specific device, you need to download it on that device. This does not sync between devices as the data is obviously local only.
