Installer Fails to Install Library Components Mac 10.8.5

Spotify Won't Open

A more detailed description, using numbered steps

1. Did a full clean install 

2. Program failed to launch

3. Went to do another clean install and found library components missing

4. Tried to reinstall a couple more times with same result

What I expected to happen

Spoify would launch

What actually happened

Login screen flashes then program quits

My Operating System

OS X 10.8.5

My Spotify version

Latest from website

My internet provider and country

Time Warner USA
