My Question or Issue

There is a bug when trying to first select multiple songs and then remove them. Sometimes only one track is removed.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Go to a playlist that you created yourself
  • Left-click one track to select it (this row now gets a grey background)
  • Move the cursor down ~3 tracks or so.
  • Press and hold shift on your keyboard. Click on another track. Now multiple tracks are selected (and the background is grey on all of them).
  • Within this grey selection area, right-click. In the context menu, choose Remove from this playlist.

What I expect to happen:
That all selected tracks are removed from the playlist.

What happens:

Sometimes all tracks are removed (as I expected). Sometimes only one of the tracks are removed (not expected).

Hi there @cpach,

Thanks for reaching out.

This is quite strange. So is it really an intermittent issue, sometimes working as usual and sometimes not? Consider performing a clean reinstall to clear any damaged cache or data that may be causing this. If the issue persists afterwards, let us know the following so we can look into it:

  • Is only the Mac affected? What about the webplayer? Test on other Desktop devices if possible.
  • When did this first start happening?
  • Does it affect all playlists or only certain ones?
  • If you can capture this behaviour both happening and not happening on the same device on a screen recording, that will help us a lot. If the files are too large to attach here in the Community, you can send them to us via Google Drive or as unlisted YouTube videos.

Let us know how it goes.
