It the notice legit: to update Spotify for a MAC?

I received an email saying: Please note that the latest version of Spotify requires Windows 10 on PC or macOS 10.13 to function. If you are unable to update your Operating System,
I want to make sure this is a legit download.

Not sure if the email is from Spotify as you did not include any visual aid for us to investigate. If in doubt, please do not click any suspicious links. However the info you share about the currently supported OS versions by Spotify is correct. You can also see it for yourself here on our Support page. Follow the upgrade tips there or use possible workarounds if upgrading is not possible for you.
