Local Files Problem

I used to have a lot of local files on one of my drives. Switched drives and now choose to stream all my music instead of have them on local disks. Now files that were previously on my local disk (which is disconected) still show up in spotify when I search for the artist but it won't let me play those songs. I have deleted the filepath from the Spotify app, I have removed my itunes playlists and updated the Desktop app. Just don't know why it won't let me stream a song on spotify just because the local disk copy isn't there anymore.
