Local files import, but do not play

Hi, 

I am on a 2012 Macbook pro, OSX 10.9.5, Spotify Version 1.0.4.90. Premium User. 

My local files (around 16.000 MP3s, all tagged, all working in iTunes) wont play in Spotify. 

I tried everything, searched the forum, all of it. 

The files DO import (via the "preferences"-way) - i tried every possible way in preferences, but nothing. the files show up, but do not play. 

i double click, but nothing happens. 

please help. i am a paying costumer and i want to use that function.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

An error should appear at the top of the screen when you try and play the track. What does it say?

Have you tried a Clean reinstallation of Spotify?

Do the files have DRM on them?

Yes i tried to reinstall. No change.
There is neither an error message nor any drm...
