MAC: No "Spotify" folder in Application Support

MAC: No "Spotify" folder in Application Support

I am trying to stop Spotify from autoupdating since the only client working at the moment is an older one (see my other post). However, all the solutions people come up with to stop the auto-update involve some work in the "Spotify" foler in "Application Support".

There is no such folder on my machine, and neither is there anything in the Cache folder. Not only do these facts prevent me from stopping atuo-updates, they also prevent me from doing a clean reinstall.

And yes, I do have Spotify installed at the moment.

ANYTHING?

This happened to me too. I was finally able to uninstall spotify using the method posted here:

https://community.spotify.com/t5/Help-Desktop-Linux-Mac-and/Can-t-Uninstall-Spotify-on-my-MacBook-ai...

I then reinstalled spotify and it seems to be behaving normally. There are still no files in Application support or in the Cache.
