Mac: Liking smart shuffle songs w/ "plus" (bottom left)->Not added to Liked

Desktop Mac: Liking A Smart Shuffle recommended song (when using Smart Shuffle in Liked Songs list) by clicking "plus" at bottom left of App (where also the minus button is) does not cause the Sont to be added to the liked list. When I go to the songs album, I can add it however.

I can't seem to add songs to my liked playlist from the desktop app. It does not seem to be a device issue, as I can't do this on my PC nor my Macbook. The "Added to Liked Songs" pop up message appears, the song is not added, and the buttons for add song and remove recommendation still appear. Repeated inputs on the Add to Liked Songs does not resolve the issue. The remove button still works fine.

Thanks for reaching out! 

Seeing that you're mentioning recommendations makes me think you might be adding songs via the Smart Shuffle function. If this is so, there might be an issue with it as it requires two clicks to add the recommendation on my end as well:

I click Add to Liked Songs and it tells me the song is added:

Upon further checking the song is in fact not added and the recommendation turns into this:

Selecting the Add to Liked Songs button a second time finally adds the song to the playlist, albeit with some delay.

If the same thing is happening on your end, we'd like to ask you to share with us the current Spotify versions you're running on both desktop devices.

Thanks for reaching out!

After you click on the plus button, does the minus button disappear? If yes, can you click on the plus button again? It should add the song to your "Liked Songs" playlist the second time you click it.

It'd also be really helpful if you can send us the following info:

• OS version of your device
• The exact Spotify version you're running - you can find the steps here
• Does this happen in the mobile app as well?
