Only receiving messages on one computer

I use Spotify on two different computers, one at work and one at home (both macs). Same account info on both. However, when someone sends me a message, I only receive them on my home computer or through facebook. This computer is often turned off during the day, and spotify is not running there. I have tried logging out, no luck. Logging in with my @facebook.com email on both, no luck. When I open my home computer the messages from the day are there waiting for me.

Any suggestions? Anyone else experience this?
