Playlist Random Play Problem!

I have a playlist containing around 8,000 songs, and some of those songs are by the same artist e.g. I have 8 Blur tracks in there.

The playlist (with shuffle switched off) plays the songs sequentially, until it gets to anartist with multiple tracks - then, the playlist shuffles aorund those multiple tracks by the artist, and then once completed, will go to the next track. I have the playlist ordered by artist.

a bug? It didnt used to do this...

I have not heard of this happening yet. I'd say a bug. What device are you using? It may have issues supporting the latest updates.
