Playlists using MP3 local files

I have spotify premium and I got a lot of playlists loaded with mp3 local files, from my computer. Now I can play the existent files but I cannot add any other mp3 file to the existent playlist, does spotify changed anything?

I want to use spotify both ways, using the online service and creating my own playlists, that's why I chose spotify over itunes or any other playlist software.

Please, some help would be useful.

Hi thanks for your answer ... I have a premiun account, and using the v1.0.1.805.gd2412973 player for MAC ... I created a personal playlist, but I cannot add any local mp3 file, just spotify online releases. everytime i tried to add an mp3 file it, automatically, opened the itunes player... ideas?
