Quicktime and itunes files

This is what I have discerned.

That the latest update of Spotify can't import iTunes playlists. 

But that if I have Quicktime on my Mac, Spotify can.

I have Quicktime on my Mac but am still unable to get my iTunes playlists into Spotify.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

to be perfectly honest with you. on my Client im not even seeing an option/Setting to import iTunes Playlists.
