Random Crash (OSX)

After playing spotify for a few minutes (sometimes longer) the app will randomly crash, generally not connected to any user input. the console log shows:

Spotify(19256,0xb7481000) malloc: *** mach_vm_map(size=1048576) failed (error code=3)

*** error: can't allocate region securely

*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug

Terminating process due to a potential for future heap corruption: errno=000

Any ideas? I have tried clean installs, deleting all local info, logging out and back in.

So I'm having a similar problem. Any time I try and play LOCAL Files (this is on my Windows desktop) Spotify crashes. I'm trying to play tracks off an external HD. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.  Turned off all sources in preferences - nothing works. I can play tracks from Spotify but if I try and load my Local files it chrashes. Just started in the last few weeks.

HELP!
