Search bar not working?

So basically I've had this issue for quite a while, I've tried everything. Logging in and out, uninstalling then reinstalling but nothing seems to work. I've read about other members in the spotify community having similar issues and followed the solutions listed, but it doesn't seem to work.

Everytime I try searching, it doesn't even show the loading circle it just shows a black page. I can see my playlists and sometimes it takes time to load. This issue never occured before I got premium, only after I got premium. Someone please help as my exams are pretty soon and I want to listen to music to relieve stress....
