Spam and ads from Alibaba and others on my Spotify

I hope you are well.

Recently, my Spotify has been infested with these ads, blank screen and spam. 

Does anyone knows how to get rid of it? I tried uninstalling and it did not work. 

Desperately seeking help.

Have you tried to scan your PC with some antivirus software?

It looks like you may have unwanted adware installed on your OSX computer. Can you clarify what version of OSX you currently have installed?
