Spotify App Won't Launch (Mac)

My Question or Issue

The spotify app won't launch. Here's what I was doing when I found the problem:
1. navigate to the applications folder in Finder
2. Double click on the Spotify app
3. App icon pops up in the doc as though it is launching, it is only there for ~1 second before the app crashes (disappears from the dock)

I searched forums and saw everything saying to go to the cache and remove the com.spotify.client folder, and then the spotify folder in application support. I moved both of these respective folders to the trash, as well as the spotify application itself from the applications folder. I emptied the trash, and then did a clean reinstall. Still getting the same issue. I tried everything again, this time restarting my computer between unintsalling and reinstalling, and still no dice.

I've tried several times, and still getting the same issue every time.

Note - this is a company issued laptop. I had spotify installed successfully, and used it on the daily, on my previous work laptop (same model). But that laptop got stolen and this is my replacement, only on this replacement laptop have I had this issue. Still works great on my personal laptop and iphone.

Hey @kevbotuptop, make sure you're on the most recent version of MacOS, I believe the latest version is 12.15.2. This could be an issue that Apple has addressed in the MacOS update. Let me know if you are still having problems!
