Spotify Constantly Buffering/Loading, Fixed Temporarily After Clean Uninstall, Then Issue Returns

Spotify Constantly Buffering/Loading, Fixed Temporarily After Clean Uninstall, Then Issue Returns

Hello,

I have had a recurring issue with Spotify on my Mac for over a year or so. Spotify constantly is stuck on a loading/buffering screen immediately when I turn on my computer. If I try to click on a playlist, an artist profile, or anything really, it remains on the spinning wheel screening and indicates that it is loading/buffering for seemingly an endless amount of time. If I leave it like that and return an hour or two later, it does allow me to access the screen I clicked, but of course, I don't want to wait one or two hours to access each screen.

At another help page, I noticed someone recommended a clean uninstall. I was thrilled to find that this fixed it and I was able to use Spotify and access screens without infinite loading/buffering. However, this is only a temporary fix. Every time I turn off my computer and/or quit Spotify and return to my computer and turn on Spotify again, the infinite loading issue returns. I have been in a cycle of clean uninstalling Spotify over and over, but I would like a more concrete permanent fix. Can someone explain what may be happening and what may help? Other help pages have only provided a temporary fix.

I have similar issues and a poor experience with the Mac desktop app. My internet connection is fine, everything else works fine, the music even continues on Spotify, but often times when I try to search an artist/song or click a playlist, it's just a black screen or stuck on the spinning wheel forever. What a disaster.
