Spotify MacOS App Uploading GBs of data

My Question or Issue

The app is uploading gigabytes of data to gew1-dealer.spotify.com 

The screenshots are from the app Little Snitch Mini.

Total sent 2.47GB and received only 709 MB.

It does it will in idle state and not playing anything.

I already opened a support ticket (2 weeks ago), but I have not received any answer yet from Spotify support.

Has anyone noticed something similar? Is it a bug?

Thanks for reaching out and kudos for the detailed info you've provided.

If you're seeing some unusual network activity, we'd recommend heading over to your account page and removing access for all 3rd party services connected to your account (you can reconnect them later if needed).

How will this solve the problem? The problem is that Spotify is uploading something into their servers. 

My only connected 3rd app is Sonos.
