Spotify Opens Automatically when Itunes Opens after Upgrade

This is going to be a huge problem for me - it seems like now Spotify opens automatically whenever I open itunes or add music to my itunes collection.  I don't see any way to prevent this from happening with the preferences menu and if this persists I will honestly just delete this from my computer.  I am using a mac OSX Yosemite and have the most recent version of Spotify. 

After dropping starred playlists, eliminating the apps (50% of the reason why i like Spotify in the first place) and now basically being a drain on my computer for no reason whatsoever, I am counting the days until a reasonable competitor can basically make up for all of the shortcomings.  The sad part is these weren't shortcomings to begin with, the actual product just happens to be getting worse.

its fixed now but my other gripes still stand
