Spotify jumps back a few songs while playing album

The issue I'm having is that when I'm playing a whole album (by clicking the big green PLAY button, with shuffle turned off) Spotify will play a few songs in order, say song 1 to song 7, and then jump back to song 3 (for example) and then play in order from there.

I think this may be due to miscommunication between Spotify on my desktop and on my phone, as it seems to happen when I pause Spotify on desktop for a bit and use my phone (even if I don't open the Spotify app on my phone).

Attached is an example. (Note: it's from my listening history, so start reading from the bottom and make your way up).

The album is Radiohead's OK Computer. Look how it plays fine up to Electioneering, then decides to jump back to Let Down for some reason.

This has happened quite a lot (it happened this morning with Drake's More Life as well), but only with albums as far as I can tell. Playlists seem to be playing fine.

I'm on Mac by the way.
