Spotify won't respond or close Mac 10.7

Hi!

I tried to open Spotify on my Macbook (running 10.7), and the program appeared on my dock. The window didn't appear though, and now the program won't close. I've tried to uninstall, but a box appears saying that it can't be uninstalled while the program is running. I also can't restart my computer for the same reason.

I have the same problem!! Please help and it also won't let me shut down my computer now!

Bit of a pain, but a hard reset by holding down the power button on your computer is the only way sometimes 😞
