Unable to drag songs to playlists

In the past week or so, the functionality to drag tracks from Songs to Playlists has stopped working.

I have the same problem, occasionally. My main gripe is that I can't drag and drop the track that is currently being played. When I drag the song that is playing to drop it from the queue into a playlist, it just says "0 items" and I have to right-click and select "Add to playlist" (see the attached picture). It's been a problem for a long time now.
