Unprofessional: Spotify Updates Settings for Streaming Quality from High to Low?

I've had Spotify premium for a very long time. Occasionally they change your settings without notification. Normally this wouldn't matter but it really bothers me when they change your setting for "Streaming Quality" from "High" to "Low" when you are paying for the service.

This isn't just an isolated case, it happens every couple of years, that's why I've got in the habit of checking it. They should be transferring your settings if they need to update the app(s). Which they seem to do with most other settings but the streaming quality somehow has this reoccurring issue.

Judging my experiences with Spotify they are most likely making this error intentionally to save money. Every time I find it has been set to low like this without me changing any settings I get really **bleep** off. I don't know when they changed it or for how long they have been ripping me off.

Spotify should be more professional with there updates so they don't override user's pre-existing settings (pretty common in software development). If this is just a mistake, it shows a lack of professionalism in their development process and quality control. Mistakes like this should be caught in a normal workflow with development team/testers. We pay a lot for Spotify premium and I expect more
