I updated to 1.0.1.1060.gc75ebdfd and noticed that I can no longer search within playlists. Prior to updating, I was able to do this using CMD+F.
What happened to this feature? Will it be coming back? I manage lots of large playlists and it's become much more difficult since I updated.
Hello there and welcome to the community 🙂
The feature CTRL / CMD + F is not in the new version.
Some features will be added in a new update (no schedule yet though). This one should be back.
Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I pressed "cmd+F" to search a song in my saved songs tab and EVERYTHING DISAPPEARED. I have no songs now…. Only in my favorites that is not updated because I thought it would be nice to use Spotify's new and useful feature.
What do I do now?
Have you tried to log out and log back in to see if everything comes back ?
Hi there,
Sorry to hear that this happened. Could you try to use Ctrl + Z (or CMD + Z on mac). If that doesn't help, then get in touch with the spotify support team by using the online contact form or by tweeting @SpotifyCares on twitter. They can restore the tracks for you.
If you get an auto reply back directing you to the help pages, just reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the employees will get back to you as soon as possible.
