My Question or Issue

I am listening to an audiobook on Premium that comes with supplemental docs/pdfs but I cannot find them on the Desktop app only on the mobile app. Any ideas where I can find these docs on the Desktop app or can I delete the Desktop app?

Hey @slj1957,

Thanks for reaching out in this thread!

You should be able to see the Extras option under the book's description on the android app as well. Just open the audiobook in question > About > Extras.

If the option doesn't appear, make sure that you're running the latest app version. You can check this by following the steps here.

Hope this clears things up! Feel free to let us know if anything else pops up.

Hey there @theebribri,

Thanks for posting your questions on the Community!

While the extra content is currently only available in the mobile app, you can use the provided links to access it across all of your devices.

After purchasing an audiobook, you should receive an email with the extra material. We recommend checking your inbox and its spam folder to check for the email. Another option, if you can't find the email, is to get in touch with our Customer Support team, so that they can look into this further.

Hope this helps!

Cheers 🙂

My Question or Issue

where can I find the audiobook accompaniments on Spotify?

I have a premium account on Spotify and listen to lots of audiobooks. At the moment I am listening to "How to do the Work" by Nicole Le Pera.
On my phone I can "View" the extra content, which is a workbook, yet on my Mac at home I cannot.
On my phone I am only able to view and not share, or download.
On my Mac I have nothing. No access to the extra content at all.

I also paid AUD$20 to purchase, "Attached" by Amir Levine and Rachel Heller, and it notes:
PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying reference material will be available in your Library section along with the audio.
Yet it is nowhere to be found. WHERE in the library should i look?

I wish to download and print.

I just started listening to an audiobook and right at the very beginning, the narrator stated that "a PDF of additional material accompanies this program". Many audiobooks I also have on Audible also have accompanying material in PDF that I've found very helpful. If there are accompanying materials (such as PDFs) to audiobooks, are these made available through Spotify too? If so, how do I access them?

Got it!  Thanks.

Hi there I'm still struggling to find the PDF I've un-installed and reinstalled the Spotify App on my Android and for some reason I still don't get the PDFs from the Audio book. It's the 4 hour body.

I reached out to Customer Service via chat and it seems they’re not aware of this. All I wanted was for them to email me the pdf since the mobile option doesn’t provide a way for you to print it. I even had to send them the url for this discussion to have them look into it. Since my time was limited I told them I’d try again another time. I think it’s ludicrous not to have it on all applications, and then not to have the option to download even more so.

I've had the same issue trying to locate the PDF for my audiobook before. Sometimes the PDF files aren’t included directly with the purchase, and you might have to convert them from another format. If your file is in a different format, you can try converting it using an online tool. It works well for converting MOBI files to PDF. Check if your audiobook platform provides the PDF in another format, and you could easily convert it. Hope this helps!

This does not help. The people here are talking about audiobooks included in the memberships of Premium subscribers, NOT audiobooks purchased outside of that subscription with Spotify. For some books, the accompanying pdfs are fundamental to listening to the book, and having the pdf only available to scroll through on a phone screen rather than a computer screen, a downloaded and printed document, or something larger than a few inches is nonsensical. Many of these pdfs are "workbook" style - meaning they have charts and fill-in-the-blanks. This type of answer of "you should get an email whenever you make a purchase of an audiobook" seems deliberately obtuse. Spotify moderators should know how the interface and membership perks operate.

I have Extra PDF available with some of my audiobooks - this is visible on my iphone phone but not on the desktop app. I can open the pdf on my iphone but I can't save or download/print the pdf? On the Desktop all the PDF is not even visible...

Me too - audiobook relies on reference to the downloadable pdf, which is hilarious given it is impossible to download from the Spotify app on my iPhone and not even visible on my desktop or browser log-in. Spotify HELP - if an audiobook is available on Premium because we have paid to have that subscription, why can't we download the file to then be able to print in for ourselves???

Hey Guys!

I can't see the pdf related to this learn arabic audiobook- it is supposed to be provided free to premium customers

My Question or Issue

So I'm completely disappointed and irritated with this. The response that is the "Top Answer" is not completely accurate. I recently ran into this same issue, I have Premium and I'm listening to and audiobook on the Spotify iPhone app and it has two PDFs attached to it in the "Extras" section and I can open the PDFs on my iPhone and read them. However being on the iPhone the font is incredibly small so I'd rather read them on my laptop. On the iPhone there is no way to email them to myself. If I log into the app on my laptop (I was using the Chrome browser) there is no Extras section at all so I can access the PDFs there. When contacting support they say they don't have access to the PDFs to email which makes no sense from a technical standpoint. If the PDFs exist on the iPhone app, then they clearly exist in Spotify's system. They should have a way to access them and email them to the customer, or at a minimum make them available online the browser app. There shouldn't be any functionality difference between the two. That's a major "no no" in software design, they same functionality should exist on the browser as the mobile app. This is poor customer service and as a Premium member paying a monthly fee I should have access to this!

Same problem as everyone above – I can see the PDF on my iphone, but no way to download, so it's basically unusable. Very frustrating as I pay Spotify a subscription and the audiobook is included, so the PDF should also be made to be useable. I hope Spotify will attend to this issue.

Hi,

I am listening to the audiobook "Good Energy", that comes with my subscription, and the book description  says:  "* This audiobook edition includes a downloadable PDF containing Part 3: The Good Energy Plan and Part 4: Good Energy Recipes from the book."

I cannot fine the download.  Any help?

Thanks
