Blocked artists are playing when playing from folder

I have a folder with 3 playlists that I am playing via the folder play option on desktop. Normally the block feature kicks in and just automatically skips the artist in question, but this time its playing that artist. One of the playlists is mine but the other one I have no control over so I can't just remove the artist in question.

Interesting. I seem to be unable to reproduce this behavior on my end. Note that the "Don't play this artist" feature doesn't affect songs where the artist is featured, only the ones where they are the main artist. Could you check if this is the case here?

If this also affects  songs where they are the main artist, what you can try is un-blocking the artist > blocking them again to see if that helps. It's also worth performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps here - this will rule out any potential issues with corrupted cache and ensure you're running the latest version available.

In case the issue persists, a short screen recording which captures the app's behavior in action would be greatly appreciated.
