Can't Delete a playlist

Can't Delete a playlist

There is a playlist that no matter if I delete it, it always says that something went wrong and even if I delete it on the website, it is never removed from the home screen

Hey @gmeza3, thanks for asking in the Community!

This might be related to your listening history and suggestions. If you used to listen to that playlist and deleted it, your suggestions might show it for some time.

But don't worry, if you deleted it once then it's removed. You can confirm that by going into your account page and checking for deleted playlists here.

The suggestion will vanish automatically as your listening history and recommendations update. The error usually, in this case, arises because you're trying to delete a deleted playlist.

I hope that helps, let me know if you need anything else

Hey @gmeza3

Are you seeing the playlist in your library or only on the Home section?

You have 90 days to recover any playlist you deleted. That can explain why you still can see it and get an error when you try to delete it (If you only see it on the Home section).

The Home's recently played section updates over time depending on what you listen to. However, it might take some time for it to update (we can't confirm exactly how much since it depends on every user's listening habits).

However, if you're still able to see it in your library, you can try logging out and then logging back in twice in a row. If it's still there, you can try from a different device and using a different internet connection.

Please let me know how it goes.
