Canvas feature disappeared

Did anyone having a problem with canvas in pc version Spotify. In my pc canvas not working

Thanks for reaching out.

 

Did the feature work for you before or have you never had it appear? Canvas on Desktop is still in the early stages of rollout so if you don't have it yet, just wait for it and you should have it soon enough ๐Ÿ™‚

yeah, it did appear for 2 days and then gone.

Thanks for reaching out. 

 

Double check the app settings as there is the option to disable this feature even if you have it. Perhaps the setting got turned off somehow. If however it's missing altogether, then be advised that this feature hasn't been rolled out completely, so it's possible you don't have it yet or that you only have it for a limited time.

same issue, it was there for two days and now its gone, I even contacted the support, they were of no help

Welcome to the Community and thank you for joining the conversation.

 

The canvas feature is not yet available to 100% of users in all markets/regions. So first, we'd recommend logging out and back in twice by following the steps in this article. It's also worth performing a clean reinstall of the app.

 

However, if the Canvas option doesn't display after this, it's possible that the feature was not yet fully launched in your market. Keep in mind that Spotify is always testing things by adding or removing features to make the app better overall, so you or someone else may see something new or get a limited feature temporarily on the app.

 

Weโ€™re sorry that this means youโ€™re not able to use the feature like you wish to do at the moment, but we hope youโ€™ll continue using it and find it gets better in the future.

Hi,

 

Is it possible to know if Spotify canvas on desktop has completely rolled out now as i'm facing an issue where it doesn't display the image instead leaving it blank.

this hasn't applied to another laptop as it displays it.

If your issue is only present on this specific device, I'd say it's worth taking a deeper look into this ๐Ÿ™‚
See if removing the cached data and logging out and back in twice in a row as suggested by @OscarDC (in order to trigger a manual sync of your data) would help out.

In case it doesn't - you can take things a step further and try performing a complete clean reinstall of the app as shown here.

My Issue

I donโ€™t have an access to Album cover animation and videos of podcasts. I tried to clean reinstall but it didnโ€™t help. Is there any solution?
