Desktop app doesn't usually work correctly on initial start up, requires restart to fix

Desktop app doesn't usually work correctly on initial start up, requires restart to fix

So since I've started using the desktop app, I run into issues on the daily. I will launch the app, usually automatically upon start up of my computer, and whether it works correctly is a gamble (usually it doesn't).

Often, my playlists/library won't load, the made for you page has nothing on it, scrobbling to last.fm is 'offline' (the songs usually load to my profile after restarting). If I restart the app everything works great, but having to restart the app basically every morning is really starting to get on my nerves. It prompted me to do an update a few days ago so I think I have the latest version of the app. I am using Windows 7.

Does anyone what I could do to fix this?

Hey @T6A5, help's here.

Sounds like something might've happened with the cache. We suggest that you uninstall the app, delete anything Spotify-related under the '/appdata' folder, and then install the app

Hope that helps 🙂

Thank you! This did the trick.
