Discover weekly unavailable

My Question or Issue: This week all of the songs on Discover weekly have been greyed out (=unavaible) on both devices. See image: Click!

Well. It was on your side, as I expected. New week, new DW and the problem is just gone. No VPN, no proxies (transparent either), etc., as the problem was wierdly just on one playlist and this one week only. The exact cause of the problem will now be a mystery, as it's easy now to just shrug it off as anomaly.


It was unavailable, just like I've explained, on Andfroid app as well, would never use the web player, so it didn't even come across as an alternative. Will be now, as an troubleshooting option if some problem arises.

Are you also having this issue with other playlists? If thats the case you might be having a connection issue. It might also help to keep the app up-to-date, what version of Spotify are you running at the moment?

Problem is Discover Weekly only. On 2 different platforms and ISP's, so not a connectivity thing. Descktop vertsion Spotify for Windows 1.1.68.632.g2b11de83

Desktop updated to Spotify for Windows 1.1.**bleep**.612.gb7409abc and the problem persists.

Thanks for getting back to us. 

 

First up, we recommend turning off any VPN, if in use. Additionally, we suggest that you check if the proxy settings are set to default/auto-detect in the app settings. 

 

Additionally, could you let us know if you're able to play the Discover Weekly playlist in the web player or in the mobile app?

 

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
