My Question or Issue

Whenever I exit out of Spotify, either by clicking File, Exit or by right mouse clicking the icon on the task bar and exiting out, Spotify does not fully exit. When I try to start it back up, I get a warning prompt from Spotify saying "The Spotify application is not responding." At that point, I have to open task manager and manually end the 3 or 4 Spotify.exe processes to exit out.

 

And this happens multiple times a day because Spotify stops working each time I switch off my Bluetooth headphones, so this is getting really tiring. I feel that's a different issue though that I might report separately.

Hey there @yahoowizard,

 

Sorry to hear you're having this issue.

Have you tried reinstalling Spotify on you device ?

It might solve the issue in hand.

I'll try it out and let you know.

 

I haven't tried it out yet since it's been happening on multiple devices but I'll let you know if that fixes it.

Did a clean reinstall by unininstalling it and deleting the folders from the AppData section. 

 

The problem still persists.

Not sure what changed but the problem got solved now.
