Local Files awfulness

you know the drill; I added some mp3's to the "local files" portion of spotify through what should have been the normal method of adding mp3 files to a program, this was the smooth part. Obviously the not so smooth part is when all of my songs become jumbled, so I can't even listen to an album all the way through if I want to. Not to mention the fact that before I tried to fix this issue through the methods I've seen on this specific community (like deleting local files through appdata, completely removing the source folder of the local files, and re-installing the entire program) I had songs in the "local files" part of spotify just go missing. So my problem is I want to be able to add my own files to spotify, but I currently don't want to add anything else cause it's **bleep**ed as it is. Honestly this feature is absolutely useless if I can't even catagorize the files that I add.
