Local Files being deleted as I add new ones

Hi there,

A problem I've recently come across is to do with my local files.

After looking it up online it seems that there should be no limit for how many local file songs there are - however for me that doesn't seem to be the case.

I've had whole albums in my local files which I've then created playlists of each which I can sync to my mobile for months. However when I go to play the playlist all the songs have dissappeared. Not only for one but for multiple playlists. After seeing this I went into my local files on spotify and I've noticed that the songs are no longer there, as if they've been replaced by new songs that I recently added - taking their place. 

I've tried removing and then readding the old songs but that didn't work at all. I currently have 280 local songs and it seems I can't add anymore, yet I read people have 20,000+ local songs? It doens't seem like anyone else has this problem either, it's not ideal since I've lost a lot of good music haha.

I'm having this problem too, I think it has to do with how Windows handles music files. I tried to look for the missing local files but they aren't in the music file.
