Topic: Raising awareness for the lack of basic functionality asssociated with adding personal files to the local files tab in spotify application.

I'm getting really tired of spotify developers skipping over basic functionality. I keep trying to add in local files but it will not update. My songs disappear and it's glitchy trying to add them in. I don't have that many files to add. I can only imagine how annoying it would be to try to manage a substantially sized library of local content. 

My biggest question here is why are we foregoing the need for these basic features? They never run smoothly. It's hard enough just to edit the details about the songs too. Overall this particular process is laborious, annoying, and counter intuitive. I've been a premium member for years now. That's hundreds of dollars just from me personally. Will the developers listen to this or do they simply not care about the attention to detail? 

To be honest, it's the details like this that are going to push me to a different music streaming service. If I found something better I would hop on it immediately.

Let's get this discussion going here because the end users are being ignored. I haven't seen too many innovative moves made by spotify. I'm starting to wonder why I'm paying for their services.
