Lost my own music

Last January I put my desktop in storage as we started to remodel our house.
I soon noticed on my iPhone playlists that many of my songs that I had added to playlists from my own CD's were greyed out.
When I clicked on these songs, I got a message that I would need to synch with the desktop in order to play these songs.
Fast forward to last night.
My desktop is still in storage.
But the greyed out songs, they're gone!!!!
In addition, all songs I added via my own cd's seem to now have disappeared and/or been replaced by albums through Spotify!!

So what happens when I get my desktop back next week? Will I have to rebuild my playlists???
This was over 2,000 songs.
I can't believe what has happened.
