Return history for desktop application

less is not more, less is less and takes away control from the user experience

I want to be able to see my play history like I used to in the desktop app

I don't know why the desktop now has less functionality and control than the mobile apps, doesn't make sense and only makes me want to use the app less, which is maybe the purpose of this terrible design decision?

Interesting. You should find the Recently played tab by opening the Queue in the bottom right corner of the app:

In case you don't see it on your end, try reinstalling the app to see if that does the trick. If it doesn't, please share a screenshot so we can investigate further, along with the version of Spotify you're running.
