Spotify still uses bandwidth after Offline Mode is turned on

My Issue

My internet is really bad, so while watching video tutorials with music in the background I didn't want Spotify to use up any bandwidth. So I switched on Offline Mode to only play from my already downloaded playlists.

But Spotify kept using up most of my bandwidth anyways! After restarting Spotify, Offline Mode seems to still be on and it doesn't seem to use bandwidth anymore now, but not sure if I trust it. 🤔

In short:

• Spotify doesn't seem to fully respect Offline Mode.
• Spotify doesn't stop using bandwidth when switching to OfflineMode = On, until Spotify is restarted.
