Still stuck on black screen

Still stuck on black screen

I have posted about this already twice, and beyond the tangled web of irrelevant posts and comments it's starting to get a little annoying that asking for help in fixing this issue is becoming a total labyrinth.

My Spotify is still stuck on a black screen on the desktop app, as has been posted several times before on this forum - twice from my account. It has been posted several times that the previous issue is fixed and all I need to do is reinstall the app - done it; didn't work.

Everything works fine on my phone and my girlfriend's phone, as well as the web-player (though the playlists are out-of-order there and the interface is annoying). It's only the desktop programme that has this

The mainline issue should indeed be resolved, so any outstanding issues are not something systemic. So that we don't repeat any steps, could you let us know all the exact troubleshooting you've tried so far? Important is, if you've only tried a regular reinstall, do a clean reinstall instead as that is considerably more capable of resolving various issues.

Issue seems to have bettered, now you can indeed quit Spotify.

 

The black screen upon opening Spotify is now black for 10 seconds until it disappears and app gets functional on a desktop, so the problem have somewhat been fixed but you have a delay until you can use the desktop app.
