My Question or Issue

3-4 Days ago my Spotify started to show the message "This content is not Available" every time i try to play ANY music from ANY playlist and ANY artist, it's not a region lock or anything, it only happens on my PC. Already tried on my phone and my brother's PC, it works fine on both. Already tried restarting app, reinstalling, changing proxy settings, resetting internet and nothing works.

Also, it only happens on the APP (old client or windows store version), if i use the web player it works fine also. What can i do to use the app again?

So here's a solution i found that worked for me

1. Uninstall your current Spotify.

2. Download and Install a older version of Spotify (i downloaded 1.1.48.625) (i won't give any links since i don't know if there's a problem) and Restart your PC.

3. Open the older version Spotify, see if you can play any music (you should be able by now, and it can be quite slow to load).

4. If everything is working fine update it to the newer version by:

4.1 Click on the 3 dots on the left top corner, go to Help and then About Spotify.

4.2 Under the current version number and the Copy version info button should have a text informing that there's a new version of Spotify available, click on it to download.

4.3 After downloading the new version click on the new text that should appear telling you to restart the app.

4.4 Done, you fixed the annoying "This content is not Available" error.

This happened to me today. I am not saying this will happen with everyone. But today I was messing with my settings, and I go to go play my playlist and it is all greyed out. I thought maybe it was my Wi-Fi, so I restarted my Wi-Fi, then that didn't work so I restarted my PC. When I searched up a random artist one of their songs were available. So, I was very confused. Then I realized that I turned off explicit content. Turns out my whole entire playlist is explicit Haha. So, if you like listening to songs with a lot of swearing, check that you have Allow playback of explicit-rated content turned on!

You don't have to do anything that Meguma said, just follow Waspyways. Go to settings by clicking on your profile and pressing "settings". If you scroll down, you'll see explicit content turned off. Just turn it back on and you're good.
