Transferring local tracks

This may be confusing but:

I had a main computer with some offline tracks which I have included on my spotify playlists which have synced to my android phone too. 

Now that I've bought a new main computer, should I remove all the local tracks from spotify playlists and reupload them from the new computer and resync to my android phone? Because otherwise my computer Spotify cannot play the local files since they originated from my old main computer. I have tried on the new computer to enable local directories and point to the music folder where the physical mp3s are stored but it won't like, update them with the new computers paths, so is the only way to manually remove and "reupload" using the new paths?
