Where did icons go?

I liked those icons, I like visuals  😕

They were making the navigation easier. Now its just a green stick moving up and down :{

For what reason you guys wanted to remove all those icons...

Also all other icons/buttons got smaller (it's harder to click you know) :[

I agree, I miss the icons too, but I guess it's part of the Spotify mini-revamp they implemented recently.

They seemed to forget desktop users, though.

Folders and playlists within look too similar, so I made my own icons - sort of - with emojis. All my folders now have 📂 in front of them.

I just copy and paste them from here: http://getemoji.com/

Most of them work with Spotify, apart from flags; they just display as letters (for me, anyway).
